West Shore Community College seeks a full-time Coordinator of Enhanced Academic Support. This is a two-year position with the intent to continue after two years. The coordinator will work under the general direction of the Dean of Arts and Sciences, and will be responsible for overseeing tutoring in written and oral communication and gateway math. The proper candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in English or Communications, and have at least one year of tutoring, or teaching experience.

The college offers a comprehensive general education curriculum designed to meet the needs of students desiring to transfer, as well as a broad selection of occupational programs for students desiring to pursue immediate employment. WSCC's fall enrollment has lately been around 1,000 students.
