SUPERINTENDENT Roxbury Township, Morris County, NJ The Roxbury Board of Education, Morris County, NJ, seeks an experienced educational leader committed to advancing our vision of "Preparing the children of today for tomorrow" as ethical and global citizens of the 21st century as envisioned in our Portrait of a Graduate initiative. Roxbury Public Schools, a dynamic and thriving district, in partnership with our community, is dedicated to providing a challenging educational experience for all learners in a safe and inclusive environment. An AP Capstone and Choice District for the Performing and Visual Arts, the district serves 3,400 students in grades PreK-12 in seven (7) buildings with an operating budget of $83.8 million and participates in a send-receive relationship for grades 9-12 with Mount Arlington Public Schools. The Board seeks a results-oriented, proven leader with demonstrated administrative and decision-making skills, demonstrated experience in staff professional development, effective verbal and written communication skills, an understanding of the importance of community engagement, and experience in discerning and meeting the needs of all learners, also including those with special needs and those not college bound. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Board, staff, students, parents, other districts, and the community to ensure a solid foundation in curriculum and instruction, and to foster a positive collaborative climate in which all children can succeed. Qualifications * NJ School Administrator or Certificate of Eligibility required. * Minimum of four (4) years administrative experience required. * Experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent preferred. * Experience in Special Education preferred. * Experience in Crisis Management preferred.
