Clinical Supervisor/
Assistant Clinic Director

Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences: 12-month clinical supervisor/ Assistant Clinic Director position, assistant clinic director for Fall 2025. Supervise graduate students at the Youngerman Center for Communication Disorders and assist the clinic director with administrative tasks. Master's Degree, CCC-SLP, New York State License, minimum of three years experience, experience supervising student clinicians and administrative/leadership experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Clinic Director, the successful candidate will:

* Supervise, educate and guide students in the areas of prevention, diagnostics, therapy, and counseling regarding communication disorders;
* Assist clinic director with student placements and student clinical evaluations;
* Assist with administering and overseeing CDS clinical programs, including community screenings;
* Assist with gathering ASHA clinic (Audiology and Speech) assessment data to present at yearly assessment meeting;
* Display effective communication and interaction skills;
* Display effective time management and organizational skills;
* Be aware of, understand, and follow all university policies.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Master's Degree, CCC-SLP, New York State License;
* Three years' experience as an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist;
* Experience supervising students;
* Previous experience working with diverse populations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Previous experience working with adults;
* Previous experience working with children;
* Experience with service billing insurance companies;
* Administrative/leadership experience;
* Effective communication, organizational and time management skills.
