The Division of Digital Learning for Old Dominion University is hiring (3) remote Enrollment Coordinators to guide prospective online students toward enrollment as ODU students. This is a remote (Telework) position as an admissions coach working with students worldwide using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (SMS, Email, Voice, and Video) as part of a distributed college team. Equipment and computer systems will be provided for your remote work location.
Required Qualifications:
Working knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques. Working knowledge of PC-related software and information systems to include Microsoft Office products, customer relationship management
(CRM) systems, instant messaging, e-mail, and web conferencing. Excellent ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to build rapport with prospects, students, and customers and to provide timely, accurate information. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with diverse work groups. Demonstrated ability to provide effective customer service, both in supporting clients/students and co-workers. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to accomplish individual goals and contribute to team goals. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex information, relay that information effectively, and talk with customers and listen attentively. Some student service experience in a higher education setting. Interaction with diverse populations. Considerable working experience with computers, including use of MS Office package and CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices (NACAC) in college student services. Some experience providing consultative coaching and customer service to non-traditional students in an online environment. Some experience providing basic curriculum guidance to college students. Considerable experience within an admissions office is a plus. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience (5-10 years in higher education).

Remote (Telework) admissions coach will work with students worldwide using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (SMS, Email, Voice, and Video) as part of a distributed college team.
Equipment and computer systems will be provided for your remote work location. Responsible to ensure100 Mbps of download speed and 10 Mbps of upload speed of dedicated internet bandwidth at your work location.
Typical work schedule 8am-5pm EST with flex scheduling as required to support student roster. Full time classified position with benefits to include paid state holidays, annual leave (12 days per year/8 hours per month) and sick leave (8 days per year). New employees are provided training, mentoring, and coaching during their 1 year probationary period.
