Art Teacher

NOVA Middle School, an independent school serving highly capable/gifted learners, is searching for an experienced art teacher who is not only technically proficient but also values and incorporates the innate nature of art as an expression of self-awareness, identity, and complex social and personal development. You will nurture artistic thinkers who are empowered to face a complex world with creative and innovative ideas. The successful candidate for this position will have both energy and openness, a steady demeanor, experience with middle school students, value a strong collaborative team approach, knowledge about the development of gifted/highly capable learners, experience supporting a neurodiverse student community and a commitment to integrating social emotional development and DEI into the student experience. This PT position could be combined with other duties making it .5FTE.
