Upward Bound Programs at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time position as a TRIO Office Manager. The anticipated start date is April 3, 2023.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The TRIO Office Manager oversees and provides day to-day input on various office-related activities for the program, including management of supplies, budgets, accounts, student worker supervision; and internal/external grants administration with limited supervision, promotion of program, and ensures a welcoming and efficient office atmosphere maintains participant files, both hard copy and via electronic database, has the ability to adapt to new technology and the ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or an Associate’s degree with at least three (3) years of experience directly related to the duties specified. Effective communication skills (including grammatical, budgetary, written and verbal) plus an appreciation of cultural diversity are necessary. Must be able to work independently, exercise good judgment, and make good decisions. Must have accuracy in detail work, good organizational techniques, and the ability to work with minimum supervision. Must possess excellent computer skills with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database and desktop publishing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of two years of relevant experience at a higher education institution. Experience in budget management. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel.
