Instructor or Assistant Professor in Athletic Training

The School of Exercise Science and Sport (ESS) at Millikin University invites applications for an Instructor/Assistant Professor faculty position in the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program. We seek innovative candidates who can contribute to the educational mission of the School of Exercise Science and Sport. Successful candidates will be expected to instruct students in the MSAT program, the BS in Exercise Science, and other core courses as qualified. The position is a ten-month position at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor, beginning August 1, 2024.

Applicants should meet the minimum requirements of a clinical or academic degree in Athletic Training or a related field (Master's accepted, Doctorate preferred), a minimum of two years of professional experience as an Athletic Trainer, certification and in good standing with Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC), current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Illinois as an Athletic Trainer, and postsecondary level teaching experience is preferred.
