Annual Job Fair

JOB FAIR!

Lane Community College will hold its annual Job Fair on Thursday, May 18, from 1:00- 5:00PM in Building 19 (first floor lobby), main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, Eugene.

This is a free event open to the public.

 The goal of the fair is to bring together employers and job seekers from the college and the community.

• Gold Sponsors for this year’s event are: Eugene Area Radio Stations, Grape Solar, PacificSource, and Willamette Family, Inc.
• Silver Sponsors are: Lane Council of Governments, SERVPRO, and SunWize.

Scholarship and Employment Specialist Tina Hunter recommends that people research participating employers, dress as if attending a job interview, bring updated resumes, and prepare a “15-second elevator pitch” to introduce themselves to employers. Participants can enter a free raffle to win door prizes.

 Instructor and Career Counselor Beth Landy is hosting virtual “Prepare for the Job Fair” workshops focused on “Resumes and Conversations that will Impress Employers.” Workshops are open to the public.
