Vice President of Financial and Facility Services
Johnston Community College in Smithfield, NC is seeking a Vice President of Financial and Facility Services.
The position will supervise the Chief Financial Officer. Provides leadership in planning, organizing, and directing all financial operations and administrative support services for the college. Duties include Financial Planning and
Management, Facilities Management, Purchasing and, construction and renovation. Also, ensures that assigned functions fulfill applicable Federal, State, and College goals and objectives. Supervises assigned staff, and provides highly complex and responsible staff assistance to the College President and the Board of Trustees.
Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in the following departments: Financial Services, Purchasing, Maintenance, Grounds / Housekeeping. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Directly supervises non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities
in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administrating, Accounting or a related field is required. Doctoral degree in a related field and/or CPA preferred. At least five years of mid-level or higher
administrative and fiscal experience in a NC community college with Colleague experience is preferred.
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
