This specialist's role is to ensure compliance with awarding and reconciliation of Federal grants and scholarships. Some responsibilities include monitoring of Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) records (including correction records) that are received and assisting with the administration and management of federal grant aid programs. Respond to student, parent, college staff, and public inquiries regarding the financial aid process. Cross-train in all other financial aid processes. This position also supports the Corrections Education Program (CEP); therefore, this position requires travel to the correctional facilities to assist with financial aid duties.
