Precision Agriculture Technology Instructor
Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a full-time instructor for our new Precision Agriculture Technology program beginning with the Spring 2025 semester. The Precision Agriculture Technology Instructor creates a positive learning environment to prepare and support students' lifelong personal growth and economic development. The instructor must work closely with the college's staff and administration to respond to students' needs and abilities.
A knowledge of the principles of operation or fundamental concepts of at least half of the following subjects is required:
- Precision Farming Technology
- Crop Science, Soil Science, and Plant Science
- Agricultural Spatial Analysis
- Commercial Drone
- Data Analytics
- Remote Sensing
The successful candidate must have an Associate's Degree (or willingness to obtain), and have a minimum of two years’ paid employment in an agriculture-related field.
This full-time, 10-month position offers a salary range of $40,000-$54,000 commensurate with experience and education level, a KPERS retirement plan, and paid health insurance for the employee. The annual salary is paid out over 12 months.
