Assistant Professor - Mathematics - Ferris State University. The Mathematics Department seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor to teach math courses, principally lower division and developmental math courses, contribute to developmental math education, contribute to curriculum development and instructional strategies that improve the quality of developmental math education, participate in departmental and University initiatives that focus on retention, and pursue related professional development and scholarly activity. The start date of this position will be August 2023. Required: PhD in Mathematics OR PhD in Mathematics Education with Master's equivalent background in mathematics. Demonstrated experience in working with developmental or lower division mathematics students. Prior teaching experience. Evidence of scholarly potential related to the study of academic dispositions, cognition, instruction, or curriculum development involving developmental and lower division mathematics.
