Adjunct Instructor 3 - Mathematics - Ferris State University. The Mathematics Department seeks applications for a one-year adjunct instructor 3 postdoctoral teaching position. This position will collaborate on developmental education initiatives and teach quantitative reasoning sequence courses. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellence in teaching, the ability to work effectively with both faculty colleagues and students, and participation in other functions of academic significance. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2024 at the earliest and January 2025 at the latest. Required: (1) PhD in Mathematics with evidence of work in mathematics education or (2) PhD in Mathematics Education. Degree must be conferred by August 1, 2024. The successful candidate must demonstrate the potential for higher education teaching excellence and the ability to work effectively with both faculty and students. Experience with and/or interest in teaching lower division and developmental math courses is essential.
