Assistant Director of Special Education/Federal Programs Director
We are recruiting for an Assistant Director of Special Education/Federal Programs Director to serve Goldendale School District. This position is full time, 215 days.
General Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Specialized Services Birth to 21 Executive Director and the district Superintendent, the Assistant Director of Special Education/Federal Programs Director provides educational leadership and direction for school district special education programs, and facilitates, coordinates and provides fiscal management for federal and state grant programs. The programs include, but are not limited to Title I, Migrant, and LAP. The Assistant Director of Special Education/Federal Programs Director supervises all aspects of these programs and leads the development and revisions of district implementation related to federal programs. In collaboration with district administrative team, the Assistant Director of Special Education/Federal Programs Director develops, coordinates, and implements program grants to support the system.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Hold or eligible to hold a Washington administrative credential; or enrolled in an administrative credential program.
- Hold or eligible to hold a valid Washington teaching certificate or ESA certification.
- Master's degree.
- Three years teaching or other certificated experience (e.g., school psychologist, speech pathologist, physical therapist).
- Administrative experience serving special education populations.
