Job Summary:
Responsible for planning and delivering a high-quality educational program to meet children’s academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs beginning with school year 2023-24. The special education teacher is a partner with the guardian and support team in developing, implementing, and monitoring the student Individual Education Plan (IEP).

Required Endorsement:
Valid Iowa teaching license with appropriate endorsement or willingness to obtain.

Highly Qualified candidates for this position will possess:
Previous classroom teaching experience.
Experience in an urban school district.
CPR Certification
