ANDOVER CENTRAL SCHOOL is seeking applicants for the following position:

Special Education Teacher

Deadline: Until filled

Provide instruction that is academically and developmentally appropriate for students with disabilities; teach life skills, basic literacy and math, and modify the general education curriculum to meet the child’s needs.  Provide direct consultant teacher services in core subject areas. Collaborate with general education teachers to support student success with the general education curriculum. Develop, implement and review Individualized Education Program for each student, set individual goals, track progress, and communicate regularly with parents.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:  Valid NYS Certification Students with Disabilities (K-12) OR Students with Disabilities (5-9)
