Director of Personnel
The Director of Personnel will be a hands-on and participative manager and will lead and develop an internal team to support the following areas: internal personnel services of hiring, onboarding and maintaining staffing; union negotiations, investigation of employee grievances, oversees unemployment and workers’ compensation reporting and the Regional Certification Office. The Director of Personnel will play a critical role in partnering with the senior leadership team to provide leadership and support for the continual improvement and efficiencies of programs and services.
Salary:
This is a salaried position with wage commensurate with experience and education, up to $130,000 per year.
Job Qualifications
Candidate Qualifications:
NYS Certification in one of the following areas: School District Business Leader (SDBL), School Business Administrator (SBA), School District Administrator (SDA)*; AND at least five (5) years of experience as a school business official or administrator AND experience with and/or an understanding of BOCES programs.
*Interested applicants currently holding permanent, competitive class status as a School Business Executive/Manager with five (5) year’s comparable experience, and those with five (5) years experience in personnel administration in business and industry, may be considered.
