Long-Term Substitute Speech Pathologist
The Campbell-Savona School District is looking for a long-term substitute Speech Pathologist beginning on or about November 1, 2022, through January 2023.
Minimum Qualifications:
• NYS Certification in Speech and Hearing Handicapped or Speech and Language Disabilities.
• Knowledge of augmentative communication devices.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide speech therapy services to students with disabilities ages 5-21 in the school setting. Responsibilities include providing both direct and consultative services to students related to student specific IEP goals. Utilize evidence-based strategies and methods to meet diverse student needs. Work closely and collaboratively with faculty and staff to ensure they understand the needs of the student and how they can support these needs in the classroom. Accurately complete all paperwork related to provide services in a timely manner as mandated by NYS and school policies and procedures.
To be considered for this position, candidates are required to complete the online application and electronically submit: a cover letter, resume, copies of certification(s) or verification from TEACH website (if applicable), letters of reference (three minimum) with one from current immediate supervisor, and college transcripts. Candidates must also have completed the fingerprint process through the New York State Education Department.
