ASSOCIATE - LIBRARY
Perform complex technical & clerical tasks in the areas of: acquisitions, cataloging, database maintenance, serials & document delivery. Provide services & support to students/community members at the Library Service Desks. Assist in devlpmt/update of library policies/procedures & collaborate w/other staff to ensure smooth operation. Bachelor’s Degree; or equiv combination of education/exper from which comparable knldge & abilities can be acquired. 2 yrs of library experience. Exper using/operating computer workstations & library applications. Proven ability to work effectively w/students of varying ages & diverse bkgrds. Strong customer service skills. Ability to learn & apply office practices/procedures/policies/regs essential to position. Respond accurately to inquiries, resolving routine problems/questions in timely manner. Computer literacy at intermediate level w/ability to utilize/apply Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as specialized SW program & computer applications.
Annual Salary of $43,655 with benefits
