General Manager (Investment Casting Foundry)

Looking for an individual with a Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an investment casting foundry. Able to prepare detailed cost estimates for the manufacturing of investment castings from quote to complete casting. Have knowledge of the latest developments in the investment casting environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: •Analyze customer requirements, labor, and time required for the manufacturing of products. •Provide accurate and timely response to customer Request for Quotes (RFQ). •Collect cost data from suppliers and subcontractors. •Design casting, casting gating, processes & procedures according to customer specifications. •Utilize and maintain company provided costing software. •Understand, follow, and implement AS9100 guidelines.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE •Minimum 10 years in the investment casting environment •Organizational skills •Strong attention to detail •Strong written & verbal communication skills. •Experience casting various metals/alloys including magnesium is preferred. •Experience with 3D printing is beneficial. •Review & evaluate engineering changes and/or specification requirements. •Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, suppliers, and customers. •Knowledgeable in the use of ERP systems and programs including Microsoft office.
